CROCHET: How to crochet a puff flower

I did a video tutorial for the puff flower a while back, but a lot of you have been asking for the written pattern, so I FINALLY got around to doing it. And I honest don’t know what too me SO long!
Yarn used: Stylecrafts Spacial DK
Hook Size: 4.5mm
This pattern is in UK Terms (please see my conversion chart)
In Lemon colour
Chain 4, insert hook into the 4th chain from the hook and pull through the yarn to create a circle. Chain 1, 12 Double crochet into the circle, slip stitch into the first chain and tie off.
In your chosen petal colour
Attach yarn, **chain 3, *yarn over and insert hook into the same space, yarn over, pull through and pull up to the same hight of the stitch* twice (5 loops on hook) yarn over and insert hook into the next space, yarn over, pull thorouh and pull up to the same hight of the stitch, then do this twice more in the SAME space. (10 loops on hook) Yarn over and pull through all loops on the hook.Chain 2, slip stitch into the next space.**
Repeat pattern from ** to ** until you have 6 petals. Connect into one of the bottom chains of the first petal and tie off.
You can sew your flowers together using a darning needle and yarn.
